Welcome to CommuniVETTM, a password-protected continuing education, news and information portal and online community intended for Canadian animal health professionals.

This website is owned and operated by NET.COM.MED INC., situated in Laval, Quebec, and is governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, without reference to principles of conflict of laws.

The services on this website are provided free of charge to eligible members, subject to the following terms of use, which may be updated from time to time.

You can always view the most recent version of our terms of use by clicking on the "terms of use" link at the bottom of any page on this website – which we encourage you to do periodically.

By signing up, creating a profile and browsing this site, you are agreeing, without limitation or qualification, to abide by these terms and conditions, and confirming that you accept our privacy policy.

In addition to agreeing by these terms and conditions, by signing up as a registered user, you confirm that you are eligible for membership – i.e., that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and above the age of majority in your province of residence, and are a Canadian veterinarian, animal health technician, student, academic or other animal health professional.

You further agree:

  • That the information you provide on your profile page is accurate, current and complete. That you will notify us of any changes in your personal and/or contact information by clicking on "edit your profile" and updating your profile.   
  • That we have your consent to collect, use and store your personal information, as well as to communicate with you, in accordance with our privacy policy
  • That you will be responsible for any conduct using your account.
  • That you will keep your password confidential and not share your access with anyone else.

You also understand:

  • That we may, at any time and at our sole discretion, disable your password and revoke your membership privileges if you provide information that is untrue, are found to not meet eligibility requirements and/or are in violation of any provision of these terms of use.  

  • That you can cancel your free membership and unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time, by contacting us through the website "contact us" section. (NOTE: Unsubscribing will disable your access to the website's protected content and to the CommuniVETTM community. Should you wish to re-subscribe at a later date, you will be asked to register and create your profile again.) 

Intellectual property rights

This website and its content, features and functionality (including, but not limited to text, images, illustrations, software, audio clips and videos, data and compilations, as well as the design, selection and arrangement thereof) are owned or otherwise provided by CommuniVETTM and are protected without limitation under Canadian, as well as applicable international laws, regulations and treaties.

CommuniVETTM does not represent or warrant that the material posted does not infringe the rights of any other person or entity.

This website and its content are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You agree that you will not:

  • Reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, republish, publicly display, publicly perform or create another work that incorporates any material posted on this website without our prior written consent.
  • Use any illustrations, photographs, videos, audio sequences or graphics separately from accompanying text.

As for your responses to member surveys posted in the "Shape Your Industry" section of CommuniVETTM, they remain non-identifiable and are not associated with your profile. The answers provided by survey participants are used to merely collect data for statistical reporting.
